Enhancing Students Awareness of the Dangers of LGBT through Interactive Education at Ibnul Qoyyim Putri Islamic Boarding School

Abstract

The community service program at Ibnul Qoyyim Putri Islamic Boarding School aimed to increase students' understanding of the dangers of LGBT behavior from religious, social, and health perspectives. The activities were carried out through interactive lectures, group discussions, and presentations involving 170 Madrasah Aliyah students on August 10, 2025. The results showed an increase in students' knowledge and awareness regarding the prevention of deviant behavior within the boarding school environment. This program is expected to serve as an initial step in preventing LGBT practices while strengthening collaboration between universities and Islamic boarding schools in fostering knowledgeable and morally upright generations.
