MALAYSIA ISLAMIC DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION: A NORMATIVE STUDY OF SYIRKAH

Abstract
Economic partnerships in Malaysia have been numerous, but rarely in line with the Islamic Economic system. This research analyses the Malaysian Islamic User Development Cooperative (KoPPIM) in building a new economic ecosystem in Malaysia. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a normative approach. Sources of information from documentation of reading journals, books, financial statements of research objects, scientific articles, and watching videos as research objects on Facebook. Research found the reality of KoPPIM that is not in accordance with the theory of Islamic shirkah, namely not paying attention to the shorf contract carried out on gold investment.
